Our best wishes for 2019
Greeting card for 2019
With nearly twelve years by your side, 2019 will be another year in which we listen to your needs, serve you better, provide you with cutting-edge communication techniques and showcase your brand in a constantly changing world.
2018: a year of many dangers
2018 saw a resurgence in website hacking, particularly of WordPress sites, which led us to take on many new clients and refine our methods for combating website hacking.
We are not invulnerable, but we work tirelessly to apply security patches immediately, making the web safer for our clients and our clients’ clients.
Our hosting services comply with the PCI/DSS standard (the banking standard), and we have our security procedures audited annually by Sôter.
New team members
2018 was a year of growth for us, as we continued to seek ways to serve you better. To this end, we’ve been working hard to strengthen our skillset; some of you may have met Matthieu, who heads up Research and Development, as well as Elyan, our ‘data doctor’ in charge of digital marketing, and Théo, our new graphic designer who’s come on board to support Valérie.
Changes at Google
Changes to search engines mean we must constantly improve our SEO. So, in 2018, thanks to Matthieu and the R&D teams, we’ve updated our website development methods to improve SEO
Features added over time now enable us to offer multilingual websites, a multi-site management interface and improved performance.
Thanks to these improvements, we’re achieving record scores in benchmarks and can guarantee the performance of our websites – something very few others in the market are able to do.
High-performing websites, and therefore cleaner ones
By using advanced programming techniques and optimised hosting solutions, we are working towards a better world; every millisecond saved on a website not only means greater satisfaction for your customers’ needs, but also conserves resources to help combat global warming.
Optimisation techniques, particularly for images, enable us to limit internet traffic and thus significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our services – and therefore yours.
Our logo features a hummingbird, and as the saying goes: ‘we’re doing our bit’.
The Legend of the Hummingbird:
One day, so the legend goes, there was a huge forest fire. All the animals, terrified and distraught, watched the disaster unfold, powerless to help. Only the little hummingbird was busy, fetching a few drops with its beak to drop onto the fire. After a while, the armadillo, annoyed by this futile effort, said to it:
‘Hummingbird! Are you mad? You’re not going to put out the fire with those few drops of water!’
And the hummingbird replied: ‘I know, but I’m doing my bit.’
Think about this the next time someone offers you a turnkey website and get in touch with us; together, we’ll do our bit to make the world a better place.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has joined us, clients and partners alike
Thanks to you, we’ve had a wonderful 2018; with your support, we’ll do even better in 2019.
A warm welcome to L’école des plantes médicinales, Horizon Pixel, France Nails, Gilles Morel, Lem Equipements and Les Instant Tanneries!
You set us challenges, we accepted them, we succeeded together, and we’ll strive to do even better in 2019.
