ArteZya: why we created our CMS, and for whom
The ACHD website, created with ArteZya
ArteZya is the no-code headless CMS that we have developed in collaboration with Tecalys, a web development company based in Saint-Étienne. It enables businesses to create and manage their websites without writing any code, built on a solid technical foundation: MODX, of which it is an extension.
Why we created it
Our clients wanted two things that tools on the market often pit against one another: to publish content themselves, easily, whilst maintaining a website that is fast, well-optimised for search engines and capable of evolving. ArteZya was born out of this demand, AmaZili’s experience in digital communication and Tecalys’ technical expertise.
Pages built from blocks
An ArteZya page is built using ready-to-use blocks: headers, illustrated text, product lists, forms, testimonials… You can add them, move them around and edit their text directly on the page, exactly as it will appear.
An existing style guide can be integrated with ease, and developers retain control: HTML, CSS and JavaScript remain accessible to anyone who needs them.
Catalogues, even very large ones
ArteZya manages structured product catalogues: specifications, filters and downloadable documents. The ACHD website is one such example. The ITAFRAN website, built by the company’s digital team, features hundreds of thousands of product listings in several languages.
Fast and optimised for search engines by design
- each image is automatically resized to the correct dimensions for every screen, and in a modern format;
- titles, descriptions, URLs and redirects can be configured on a page-by-page basis;
- the generated code remains lightweight: only the necessary functions are loaded.
Multi-site and multilingual
Multiple sites, multiple languages: ArteZya manages them all from a single interface. This is invaluable for a group with multiple brands, or for a company that sells abroad.
MODX’s security and updates
MODX has a reputation as a secure CMS, and it is well deserved: few extensions, and a team that actively hunts for vulnerabilities itself. However, no software is entirely immune. In July 2026, during an internal review, the MODX team discovered a vulnerability present in all versions and fixed it in versions 3.2.3 and 2.8.9. This is why an ArteZya website comes with regular updates.
Templates for agencies
An agency can create its own website templates using ArteZya and offer them to its clients. A template marketplace is planned; it is not yet open.
They have an ArteZya website
We have built the websites for ACHD, Alliance Compacts, AC Mécaservices, Tecair, Cafés Pierre Soral, Rivollier TP and Solbos using ArteZya. ITAFRAN’s digital team built its own website using ArteZya.
A more streamlined website
Lightweight pages use fewer resources, both on our servers and on your visitors’ devices. ArteZya ensures this by design. For our part, AmaZili offsets its carbon footprint by planting fruit trees on the grounds of its head office.
See ArteZya in action
The easiest way is to see it for yourself: we’ll show you an example relevant to your business. All our services, from website creation to taking over an existing site, are on the ArteZya page: Headless CMS.
