Sovereign business hosting: your website and email accounts in France

A web hosting provider is a company that rents out server space, allowing you to store data on the web without having to buy your own server. Hosting providers can also help you manage administrative tasks such as setting up domain names and email accounts for your website.

Web Hosting and Environmental Commitment

Our service is environmentally friendly thanks to our choice of data centres that rely overwhelmingly on renewable energy, and the implementation of technological optimisations that reduce the carbon footprint of our operations.

Our service includes hosting on our Apache and NGINX web servers for your websites and applications written in PHP, Node.js or Python, depending on the technology used, for all types of websites (blogs, marketing sites, corporate websites, catalogue sites, technical sites and e-commerce sites). For more demanding projects, we design your infrastructure at OVHcloud — dedicated servers, Public Cloud or Hosted Private Cloud — and support it with our services: migration of your websites and applications, server configuration, administration and managed services.

Hosting and data sovereignty

Our website and email hosting service is based on servers located in France and utilising European open-source technologies to guarantee the security and sovereignty of your data.

E-commerce and showcase website hosting

We are a partner of OVHcloud, France’s largest hosting provider, and our servers are primarily hosted in data centres in France (and possibly other European countries) to meet the requirements of the GDPR; we can also host your sites in other countries where OVHcloud operates, each governed by its own regulations: PIPEDA in Canada (and Bill 25 in Quebec), the UK GDPR in the United Kingdom, the Privacy Act in Australia, the PDPA in Singapore, the DPDP Act in India, and the Cloud Act in the United States, where OVHcloud has a separate subsidiary.

Application hosting

We also provide hosting for smartphone applications, ‘progressive web app’ hosting, ‘headless app’ hosting and SaaS (Software as a Service).

Your applications, hosted in France

As well as websites, we host open-source applications on our servers – or offer them as a service – so you don’t have to entrust your data to major platforms: Nextcloud for file sharing and calendars, Matomo for privacy-friendly web analytics, GitLab for your development projects, and open-source ERP systems.

We also host business software designed by our teams and by Tecalys — VGP-Multi for general and periodic inspections, Ariane for training centres, our ERP — as well as bespoke applications we develop for our clients.

Security certificates

In partnership with digital certificate authorities, we offer you a wide range of certificates. We manage your SSL security certificates to support the HTTPS protocol (secure connection), as well as secure business email accounts.

Domain names

A domain name is the address of your website (.fr, .com, etc.) and your email accounts. We advise you on choosing a domain name and on the extensions most suitable for your business; we register it with OVHcloud, with whom we partner, or, depending on the extension, with Gandi or Netim, and we handle all technical and administrative management.

We offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you choose the right name before registering it.
